Introduction to Solid Modelling & 3D printing @ FabLab Belfast

In this workshop, you will be introduced to the world of 3D solid modelling. 3D modelling is the process of designing an object that can be manufactured using a range of hi tech manufacturing processes.

You will be guided through the process of creating a solid object in the virtual environment using parametric design software. This model will then be transferred to the 3D printer for manufacture. If you have an interest in product design, engineering, jewellery making or furniture making, then this is the workshop for you.
