Ashton Community Trust Seniors Dinner took place on the 1st of December in the Lansdowne Hotel. 170 from the greater New Lodge area were entertained by Rosie Hunter Band having received a fantastic Christmas Lunch all courtesy of the ACT.
The dinner is part of the ACT commitment to Community Development and a chance for local seniors to relax and enjoy the early Christmas festivities.
The lunch brought several local groups together who provide an all year service to the seniors such as 174 Trust, Star Neighbourhood Centre, Carrick Hill Community Assoc, Recy Seniors and St. Patrick’s Luncheon club This is the sixth year of the dinner and continues to be a popular occasion for all involved.
