Ashton Community Trust –  Community Bursary Awards 2016

dsc_0780This is the 7th year of the Annual Ashton Community Bursary Awards. The purpose of the Bursary Awards Scheme is to enable the Ashton Community Trust to use some of its resources to provide help to other community led projects in the Greater New Lodge area especially where there is clear evidence of voluntary input and where financial resources for a group are scarce. To date over 80 bursaries have been granted to local groups involved in activities such as sport, outdoor pursuits, art, music, health, housing, culture, history, remembrance, safety and well being. Ashton has now distributed over £35,000 in Bursary Awards.
